Value added courses committee is primarily responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing additional courses that equip students with industry-relevant skills beyond the core curriculum, focusing on enhancing employability by bridging skill gaps and aligning learning with market demands.
Needs Assessment: Conduct surveys with industry professionals, alumni, and students to identify skill gaps and emerging trends for VACs.
Course Development: Design relevant VAC courses by aligning topics with industry needs, student interests, and academic goals.
Identify and recommend qualified instructors with industry expertise to ensure practical, real-world learning experiences.
Coordinate course scheduling and delivery, monitoring progress and addressing issues during execution.
Collect feedback from students and industry partners to refine course content and delivery methods.
Promote VAC offerings through student portals, newsletters, and events, highlighting employability benefits.
Collaborate with academic councils, departments, and industry partners to align VACs with curriculum and career development.
