To assist the management in getting maximum admissions to various programmes.
To facilitate guidance and interview procedures pertaining to admissions in the college.
To help solve queries of parents and students interested in taking admission to the different programs in the college.
To be responsible for assuring compliance with the admissions policies and practices of the institution
To decide on all matters relating to admissions of students with the Principal.
Prepare attractive brochures, prospectus and handouts for wider publicity in consultation with central admission cell at MST, with department heads and with the Principal
To prepare plan for addressing 12th standard as a career counseling activity.
Guides students and parents to choose a suitable stream of the UG programme in line with the interest of the students and marks secured.
To collect all the necessary documents as required by college office and as per ALU norms, file and maintain the records of the admissions. Also to enter all the details of the students in the ERP software.
To make necessary arrangements for the orientation programme of 1st year students in association with PTA committee.
To extend a supportive role to college office in follow up of the tuition fee payments.
To suggest the management through principal /respective authority on improving facilities from the feedbacks got from parents and students during admission counseling
To decide the concessions as stipulated by the Management, ALU and as per government norms
Perform such other functions as may be assigned by the management authorities and principal of the College from time to time
