The Research Committee of MSHCASW aims to encourage faculty and students to engage in research activities and foster a research-oriented environment.
Create a comprehensive research activity plan for all departments, outlining goals and objectives for the academic year.
Build connections with local and global industries to identify and address technological challenges through faculty and student-led R&D projects.
Identify key application areas (e.g., transportation, healthcare, security) and assign relevant R&D tasks to faculty and students for innovative solutions.
Foster partnerships with industries and research organizations through Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) for collaborative research, consultancy, and sponsored projects.
Organize sessions with industry experts and R&D leaders to promote understanding of current research methodologies and practices.
Encourage and support faculty involvement in conferences, workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs to share knowledge and expertise.
Keep faculty and students informed about funding opportunities from agencies like DST, DRDO, ISRO, CSIR, UGC, and others.
Motivate students to present research papers at national and international conferences and participate in project competitions.
Regularly track and assess the progress of ongoing research and development activities across departments.
