The Training and Placement Cell at Mohamed Sathak Hamid College of Arts and Science for Women plays a pivotal role in shaping the careers of our students by bridging the gap between academia and industry. It is committed to empowering students through a variety of initiatives that include training programs, skill development workshops, and on-campus/off-campus placement drives.
Our Placement Cell not only facilitates employment opportunities but also nurtures the overall professional development of our students. By fostering industry interactions, career awareness programs, and soft skill training sessions, we aim to prepare our students to meet the ever-evolving demands of the global job market.

The Placement Cell performs liaison work between the Institute and organizations and serves as an interface to establish the best student-organization fit by arranging campus interviews.
It acts as a nodal point for all placement-related activities and assists students in developing an effective job search strategy by providing relevant information and resources.
The Placement Committee facilitates prospective employers by organizing institute-industry interactions regularly, providing complete support for arranging placement activities on the campus and recommending students to them for internship and placement.
It organizes pre-placement training by way of group discussions, personal interviews and workshops on personality enrichment and communication skills in an attempt to equip students with the necessary skills required to meet the challenges of recruitment.

Adetive Solutions Pvt. Ltd. had extended a valuable six-month internship opportunity to our students, offering them real-world industry exposure and skill development. Several students enthusiastically took part in the program, building expertise through specialized courses in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Content Writing, Entrepreneurship, and Full Stack Development that helped them sharpen their professional skills and prepare for future career opportunities.
A one-week intensive training program on Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing (LSRW) was conducted recently, with the active participation of 334 students. The program reinforced the importance of comprehensive communication skills, highlighting that effective communication depends equally on listening, speaking, and reading abilities. The training enabled students to sharpen their language abilities, communicate their thoughts more effectively, and approach academic and professional interactions with increased confidence and precision.
A total of 60 students have been successfully placed during the academic year 2024–2025, thanks to the combined efforts of the Placement Committee and the enthusiastic participation of our students.

An online recruitment drive was conducted by Literact Fintech, Coimbatore. Students participated in an aptitude test and virtual interview via Google Meet. The drive offered roles in the fintech sector, demanding analytical and digital skills.
