Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, and
UGC (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015.
As mandated under law and UGC norms, the College has constituted the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to prevent and redress sexual harassment complaints in a time-bound, confidential, and sensitive manner.
To ensure zero tolerance towards sexual harassment.
To create a safe academic and working environment for women.
To handle complaints with confidentiality, impartiality, fairness, and without victimisation.
To conduct awareness programmes, sensitisation workshops, and gender equity initiatives.
Sexual harassment includes any unwelcome act or behaviour (direct or implied) such as:
Physical contact or advances
Demand or request for sexual favours
Making sexually coloured remarks or gestures
Displaying pornographic content
Any other unwelcome physical, verbal, non-verbal conduct of a sexual nature
Sexual harassment can occur online, via text messages, social media, e-mails, or photographs as well.

All complaints will be treated with strict confidentiality. No retaliation will be tolerated.
